Our story began in 1850, when our ancestors founded Nuudi farm beside Suursadama — and rabbits, sheep, pigs, cows, horses and chickens became an inseparable part of it. The animals came to stay, and life here has carried on in one shared rhythm ever since. Today you can meet four different generations of the family in the Nuudi farmyard, all of whom have given their hearts to making sure their four-legged and winged friends have everything they need for a good life.
It was 2008 when the first Highland cattle joined our family, and soon Dorper sheep could be seen frolicking on the Nuudi meadows too. For years it had been the host Margo’s great dream to have his own donkey, and in 2024 that moment finally came — the grey, long-eared Lohe stepped into the yard. And so that Lohe would have a friend, and the little master an animal of his own, a lively pony arrived on the same ferry.
That moment can be written into the history books as the day Nuudi Farm became Nuudi Hobitalu. Life tends to make its own plans, but perhaps the time was just right for the early-morning guests waiting at the barn door with their milk churns to be replaced by people who want to spend time with the animals and give a gentle pat — to new friends and to their own souls alike. Our family’s principle is that every animal and bird at Nuudi Farm should get to live a full life and never fear ending up on someone’s plate.
Come and let’s be friends! Today Nuudi Hobitalu is home to both exotic and lovable farm animals. Among them you’ll find a donkey, ponies, alpacas, a llama, sheep, goats, Highland cattle, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, emus, pheasants, parrots and many more delightful characters. All of our animals can be petted, fed and enjoyed at a gentle pace. Life has shown that there’s joy here for visitors big and small!
